Like, Deinonychus was important because thanks to it's build, it was clear that it was an agile quick predator, and not some tail drugging sluggish lizard, right?

But like, Dromaeosaurus was discovered before Deinonychus, and would have had a similair build. I mean, it's name even means "running lizard".

I'm sorry for sounding dumb but i really would like to know more about this.
