I appreciate thinking outside the box and coming up with Dromornis, I probably would have forgotten about the terror ducks when considering domestication of extinct animals since I always default to Ice Age stuff or dinosaurs lol. In a place like Australia where there are little options, I could definitely see the people at least attempt to tame them for food. Much better than having a coop full of Megalania lol

A great thing to look into for which animals make the best livestock is to look at the ones we have in modern day and seeing why they are so good compared to other animals, be it their temperament or size or just something weird about them thats easy to exploit. Dromornis is kinda unknown in most of that, so you did a good job picking it :)

Many people raise domesticated emus, emus that I have met before. Demon ducks would certainly require a larger-scale setup, but this is closest similarity I can draw from today.

Emus are a pretty manageable size and have surprisingly docile temperaments, except for in Autumn (mating season). The eggs are large and durable - hard shelled - but for most uses such as baking or frying/scrambling, chicken or duck eggs are just more manageable. While a giant egg might provide high food quantity, processing it is a greater challenge. Frequency of egg-laying is also something to consider. I can't say for sure if demon ducks could evolve to yield significantly higher egg quantities through artificial selection, but I dont think that's really been achieved with ostriches or emus.

Turkeys are the best domesticated dinosaurs, anyway.
