We would know nothing about prehistoric babies if it weren't for tragedies like this. Amazing discovery; I expect nothing less from Solnhofen.
Rip
Isnt it crazy how we can mourn the death of something so ancient?
What dragnor wants me to notice: baby pterosaurs killed in a storm, so sad
What I actually notice: that 3rd link has pterodactyl in the title!
@PowerLord23 ^Mostly because these were actually Pterodactylus.
I want y'all to notice some pterosaurs were ( likely ) mean / neglectful parents (?) @Rogeriforloki @PowerLord23
^^Still, in most contexts it's used to generalize Pterosaurs as a whole. In which case just call them Pterosaurs.
Me when I see the word pterodacyl:
^Well i mean yeah but like, these ARE Pterodactylus, what else was he supposed to call them?
^^^^^
What do you think?
