@Jag D-Q
> Largest ones seem to be Eurasian Cave Lions
^^^^yes easily, they may be bigger but size doesn't equal proportional muscle power. Here's a Smilodon humerus compared to a tigers at the same length
So Smilodons not only have the highest muscularity but also has the strongest bones. Noted. (Welp, American & Mosbach Lions are gonna have a rough day)
@Jag D-Q There is still a question about Eurasian Cave Lions could be more muscular tbh
Smilodon is quite literally the most muscular carnivoran of all time for now, it’s even more robust than all bears
Not a single cave lion individual has bones anywhere near the robustness of Smilodon populator
^ Yep, especially since a cave lion's muscularity is rivaled by a Ngandong Tiger's.
@Toji sigmeshler @Jag D-Q @Harpy Eagle Enthusiast True for The S. Populator though
Apparently There are Three distinct species of Smilodons...
Ironically their homeland didn't gave them a glow up; but south America did !
I’m pretty sure Fatalis was actually proportionally more robust than Populator lol
Dk about gracilis
@Harpy Eagle Enthusiast Wasn't Populator was the most robust and massive one yet ?
Edit: Yep ! It was the Populator alright ! Look at the skeleton diagram above ! The one Toji has posted
What do you think?
