I wasn't sure initially whether or not to include the coelacanth. Yes, Coelacanthiformes are almost quintessential Mesozoic river fish, but two species in Latimera still exist today.
The scientific name given to the ARK coelacanth is "Coelacanth nutritia", which, as far as I know, is not a real genus. Neither is "Ammonitina", but...
Ammonitina as a group is extinct. Coelacanths are not.
I mean, do y'all think we should still include it? I would like to expand it to cover modern creatures, too, but I'm unsure about whether they'd be worthwhile candidates.
