Well given that the consultants of the show have access to papers that haven’t been published yet, who knows, maybe it’s a more definitive reconstruction than others.
@Fire Campaign I mean... we have 3 papers that shown Spinosaurus was more terrestrial. Including a fourth one that was way earlier indicated that Spinosaurus show biggest resembelance to regular terrestrial theropods... like - specimens from Libya to morocco being identical to normal theropods. We also have many spinosaurus specimens found inland Areas that are inaccesible via water. So... yeah.
I am ALL for Amphibious Spino thought. Accessing BOTH land and water. Should be more than likely
What probably happened was that (because both Nizar Ibrahim, supporter of aquatic predator Spino, and Thomas R. Holtz, supporter of shoreline generalist Spino, are consultants for the show) they decided to compromise and show a little bit of both lifestyles.
