It’s a combination of different types of dinosaurs (like sauro’s skeleton includes sauropod and theropod parts in it)

From what I’ve heard, it is a sauropod now (I think)

IIRC The holotype (and maybe some other material, idk) is a sauropod, but the rest of the material is from a large allosaurid

Its a type diplodocus mixed with Allosaurus Anax

Tbf the new sauropod Saurophaganax could've still fed on small lizards if they're unlucky or if it's just bored and in need of protein supplements or smth

Iirc it's material and bones were from a sauropod but someone told be they were between a sauropod and allosaurus

So it's a sauropod now but it's allosaurus form is nenamed to allosaurus anax

The holotype specimen (which is the specimen the genus is based upon) is most likely a diplodocid sauropod, the Allosaurid material is from Allosaurus anax

And the saurphaganax maximus is now a sauropod,it's tail is more diplodocus like than apatosaurus like too while it's neck is more apatosaurus like

Well actually, some of it's speciments are from diplodocid & apatosaurid dinosaur & the rest are from the new species Allosaurus anax.

While it's holotype specimen (the dorsal neural arch vertebrae) is unknown cause is so fragmentary since the researchers have not yet confirmed if Saurophaganax maximus is a theropod (which hope it will be) or a sauropod. Which is why the genus it's still considered to be a nomen dubium

Besides, there's also the unidentified possible material from New Mexico that still has not yet confirmed if these speciments belong to Allosaurus or more likely to Saurophaganax.

So let's wait till later this year (either October or December) or next year (2026) for more new about it, okay👍😉🦖🦕🌎🌌
