Hasn’t it been said that theri’s claws were apparently too fragile to actually be reliably used as the big, slicing daggers that we see in many depictions?
^They're not as strong as compared to it's relatives, and would've been used to grasp down leaves, but I think they were sturdy enough to be used from time to time
