Thought I might share this, basically I had the idea for the ultimate video game adaptation of Walking with that I could create when I’m an adult. The game would feature every location and every prehistoric creature seen in Walking with and Prehistoric Park, plus some new ones.
The premise is that you have become the colleague of Nigel Marven, and it’s your job to go back, along with Nigel’s crew to document Prehistoric life from various time periods. To document them, you can use cameras, underwater ROVs and drones. You must also protect yourself from not only the fauna, but natural disasters as well.
The game would be open world, and you’d be free to explore as much as you’d like. The maps would also be pretty big. To navigate the world, you can use cars, small planes, and snow machines (or snowmobiles as you people like to call them). All animals would have a complex AI to make them as realistic as possible.
The animals in the game would be as close to the animals in the show as possible, but also be retconned to match modern science. For instance the Dromaeosaurus would have the same color pattern in the show, but also have feathers. The only inaccuracies I would excuse are Anachronisms, for instance Thrinaxodon lived during the Early Triassic, but was shown to live during the Late Triassic in the show.
There’s more I want to add to this concept, and it isn’t finished. I just wanted to share it an your Gus thoughts.
