In a scene for the Jurassic World Novel I'm writing, there's a scene where an injured Tyrannosaurus mcraeensis (which is a real species, it's just new) and Ankylosaurus magniventris fight. It starts with the Ankylosaurus swinging its club tail, which the Tyrannosaurus (nick named "Boss") dodges. Boss roars at it (with an accurate call) before trying to bite the tail. The Ankylosaurus bellows in agony and frees its tail from Boss and then slams its club into Boss' shoulder, fracturing it and causing his arm to cripple and fall limp. The Boss then roars blood on the Ankylosaurus before tipping it over like a turtle. (And due to this portrayal of the species, the back is flat, aside from the spikes in the sides) The Ankylosaurus squirms and flails before Boss puts his foot full force over the Ankylosaurus' ribs. A loud crunch is heard and the Ankylosaurus immediately dies.
How accurate is this scene?
