Imagine if the paleontologists named the T-rex "Sui" instead of "Sue".

As ScaryLookinHobo said, I like to go with female because the name fits it more. However, Sue's gender is completely unknown. For all we know they could actually be a 'he'.

In all crocodilians and the majority of birds (exceptions including birds of prey and Oceanian ratites), the males are larger. Ditto for pterosaurs. To me, this strongly implies male dinosaurs were larger than females in most species. There could be exceptions however.

It is hard to tell when the clade of Dinosauria is so large and diverse, so we only have birds and crocs to go off of for reference, which are decently far from tyrannosaurines. And that is if they exhibited sexual dimorphism to begin with

But I do think the idea of looking at living archosaurs for some clues may help
