They decided to use Rex cause it was bigger, it was so constantly used that nobody even thought about using any other carnivores until like the 90’s.

Literally if they used anything else like Allosaurus and it used it the same ways they used Rex, Rex would have been sideline like the other 98% of Theropods.

And even for things that special about Rex, most Tyrannosaurs have sharp senses, most Tyrannosaurs are some of the smartest theropods, and even then, they aren’t even the smartest.

Their Bites are strong but a Bone Crunching Bite would just kill something instantly if it snaps the neck, but any slashing bite would just tear apart any prey and cause massive blood lost and infection, kinda like Komodo Dragons just without the Venom.

I just don’t find all that special, ya it’s cool and the things they are special in is kinda special, but when 90% of the family share almost identical traits it makes T.Rex less special, the only thing left would be size.

Its not just It being overused, I just never got why people over hype it when it’s literally the poster child for generic theropods, and most of its special traits is shared with most of its family.

People have asked for content without Rex, ya know what happens, MORE FVCKING REX, or shit shows.

Even it’s good, it does so poorly cause it doesn’t have Rex it doesn’t do more.

The overuse of Rex pretty much ruined most chances for anything else becoming popular enough that anything with just it would actually do good.

First Allosaurus specimen was 28 Feet. T.Rex was still bigger at 33 Feet.

And Megalosaurus was getting shrunken by the time of Dinosaur movies with Rex.

Is there a problem with me having a certain favorite Tyrannosaur?

Kinda seems like somebody’s a bit salty their favorite dinosaur isnt loved by other people with different opinions

I don’t mind more people liking the T.Rex, it’s just that I myself just never saw the hype about it nor anything that makes it so much more different that any other tyrannosaur besides its bite and size.

And it’s a literal fact that T.Rex is overused, 90% of Dinosaur literally has T.Rex, and usually a-lot of other theropods are sidelined, which is just kinda annoying and repetitive.

I like Nanuqsaurus cause a Polar Tyrannosaur is just an awesome thought, also it’s fluffy so it’s friend shaped.

It’s head crests are cool, and pretty much all paleoart depicting it is peak.

^^^^im not saying its not. I am just saying that its the goat. but,just cuz it is doesnt mean it should be overused. like I said earlier, I can get bored of it. ME! THE NUMBER ON REX GLAZER! I'm not asking u to make it ur favorite dinosaur but just that u don't hate on it and especially for the wrong reasons and misrepresent its cool traits
