Yeah yeah Megalosaurus 200 year anniversary and allat
To be completely honest I'm not very interested in paleontology anymore but I'll always have a soft spot for it, so I guess here's a list of my favorites to commemorate
(Fun fact, a list very similar to this was one of my first posts on this wiki three years ago)

Kaprosuchus
Art by Julio Lacerda
This guy is a super cool and unique crocodyliform with "tusk" teeth and a badass name. It's my favorite prehistoric croc by a long shot. (Well maybe Deinosuchus but that's another story)
4:
Spinosaurus
Art by Mario Lanzas
Spinosaurus is such a weird dinosaur (and to be honest, ugly) dinosaur that I can't help but love it. The newer reconstructions make him look like a waterfowl on steroids which is kind of meh, but those old 2000s Spinosaurus depictions went so hard.
3:
Carcharodontosaurus/Giganotosaurus/Mapusaurus
Art by Lilburger4, RJ Palmer, and Cindy Joli respectively
Yeah I'm lumping the big three carcharodontosaurids into one slot because they're all pretty similar but also equally badass. Carcharodontosaurus itself lived in an absolutely metal ecosytem and was the apex predator among some of the most impressive land creatures ever in the Kem Kem beds. Giganotosaurus is just cool. The name's cool, Patagonia is cool, and the dude is built like an absolute unit. Mapusaurus I like for similar reasons, but also because of how it lived with another formidable cacharodontosaurid, Meraxes, as well as Argentinosaurus.

Tyrannosaurus rex
Art by Mark Witton
T. rex! What else is there to say! It's an iconic dinosaur and deserves its popularity due to how much it has taught us about theropods and dinosaurs as a whole. It's awesome to look at how our reconstructions of T.rex have evolved over the past century, yet how it's always kept that awesome presence in media. Ask any person above the age of 2 and they probably know what T.rex is. It's just that awesome.

Lythronax
Top art by Raphtor, bottom two are by Gabriel Ugeto
For starters, the name is awesome and I'm a sucker for mid-sized tyrannosaurs. Like Kaprosuchus, it was discovered the year I was born and it was found in Utah, a state I have an attachment to since it was the last actual "family vacation" I've done back in 2015 (I think). I love the goofy idea of it having vampire fangs and how awesome all the art of it is. It lived with Diabloceratops which is cool, and it's also essentially a mini T.rex.
Oh yeah, I gotta pick up that BOTM figure of Lythronax too. Shit looks awesome.
(Yes I like carnivores and therapods lmao)
