And the Titanis, (A terror birb) became extinct due to Smilodon Gracilis. Obviously it wasn't the only factor.

(Although the trike didn't used their horns for attacking, they had a strong bite, but not strong as Tyrannosaurus'.)

What evidence do you have for the horn thing?

I think that Trikes, along with other ceratopsids, did fights similar to deer, moose, and elk, where they ram each other's skulls, and lock horns. IDK I might be the dumbest bitch ever, but oh well.

It’s sad to see that even now, people think that Smilodon outcompeted Titanis to extinction. It could’ve been a very, very minor factor, but S. gracilis is much smaller than terror birds and didn’t grow larger until after Titanis died out. I can let older shows like Prehistoric Park slide, but the fact that LOOP still has this is pretty absurd.

Defenseless Triceratops is even more absurd, though.

The fire-breathing Parasaurolophus is hilarious. I love it. The Smilodon one is partially true, as competition with Smilodon probably aided in the extinction of some species of terror bird.

I'd say fire-breathing Para is the most rediculous and unscientific. The saber-tooth wiping out terror birds is probably the most true of these, because the Great Faunal Interchange did cause extinctions of southern animals.

@MadGuanlong Smilodon gracilis definitely did not drive Titanis extinct. The only Smilodon species that could kill a giant terror bird is Populator, and that species didn't coexist with any.

Titanis probably went extinct for the same reason Smilodon did - prey loss.
