As most of you already know, Life On Our Planet released its official trailer a couple days ago, and among the new creatures featured was an unidentified pliosaur.
The Pliosaur was featured for a split second hunting what appears to be some kind of sea turtle. Sometime after, an official poster was released that depicted a closer view of what it looked like.
From the looks of it, the Pliosaur appears to be one of three genera: Liopleurodon, Pliosaurus, or Kronosaurus. Due to the Pliosaur hunting sea turtles in the trailer, and the fact that sea turtles evolved around 110 mya in the Cretaceous, we can safely assume that the Pliosaur lived in the Cretaceous, and is therefore Kronosaurus/Eiectus. What are your thoughts.
