Did anyone else see the great white shark versus otodus megalodon thing this year on shark week

No, but that sounds hilarious

They were trying to figure what would happen if the two species met at some point. But one thing brought up that interested me was when they were talking about the diet of megalodon turns out after things like Livytan and orca showed up the megalodon researcher who was brought in to help mentioned that megalodon had a major diet change and was most likely knocked out of being a apex predator like it was. It had to give up hunting whales and resort to scavenging them. So megalodon resorted to sharks, large fish, squid and other things like that.

I mean, great whites and Otodus likely did cross paths, as studies have shown white sharks have been for a long while, and Megs have only went extinct about 2 mya.

But yeah the changes in its diet were too much for the big guy and Great Whites took over as the top fish.

And now orcas are replacing the great whites eating their liver
