So, yeah I have made an intermediate stage between a dromaeosaurid (Dromaeosauridae) and an edestid (Edestidae), but it's concept art, and I had the idea since last night.
In yes before yall say these are not real, yes I have split it into 4 concepts. So here's all 4 of them and why they look the way they are
So, I gave it quite a thick neck for some reason (and yes I made these last night) but looking at it, yeah it does kinda look like a Satyriac. But you can see it's jaws open thus revealing the Edestid side, with the teeth.
Same concept 1 but with a shorter snout and gills, and also webbed hands.
Ok I actually love concept 3 as it shows the tail and it has webbed feet, and plus I somewhat made it look like an Allosaur in a way.
(JOKE) Ok this is a joke concept, and it was inspired by this Magnusaurus of which lead to me making these concepts. So basically in a nutshell this is sorta like a knock-off in a way and so that's why its a joke concept.
Oh yeah btw here's the reply of which yes it was made in March 18th of this year, and I didn't pickup the idea until like 3 months later, of which I was inspired by.
So, basically Sphenacodontidae is a group of Synapsids from the Paleozoic, and so I wanted to do the same but with another dinosaur family and another Paleozoic oddball family, and so that's how I came up with Dromaeosauridae and Edestidae.
