Weight is the main determining factor in fights. Even though Tyrannosaurus and Giganotosaurus are around the same length and height, Tyrannosaurus can push around Giganotosaurus pretty easily due to its larger weight

Giganotosaurus can reach 10.4 tonnes at max.
