The park was pretty peaceful for the moment but some people were a little on edge. Due to the fact that the park had a giant therapod dinosaur in the park and it because bracing was still not finished. After dealing with a slight problem with the diplocaulus as it kept trying to get it to eat the provided as it refused to eat bugs which was thought to be its diet by d1n0 and after giving it live minnow like fish in the river it began eating. But a strong storm was on the horizon and headed towards the park. As the park braced for the storm some of the therapods started getting agitated from the thunder heard louder to them then the other animals. But one in particular was very not happy the largest thing in the park the Carcharodontosaurus. As the storm hit the park a problem arose the metal bars used to brace the carcharodontosaurus enclosure were attracting the lightning and with the wood that is used to make majority of the fence being extremely dry as soon as the lightning hit the areas of completed braced fence it caught fire burning sections of fence. With the carcharodontosaurus in the enclosure being at this point very agitated it walked through the burnt down wall segments. It being hungry turned its attention to hunting down something to eat. It didn't really care about the humans as to the carcharodontosaurus they were too small to hunt for food as it was very hungry. It then caught the scent of something familiar and headed in the direction of the smell. As the park staff watched on the security cameras they prepared to capture the carcharodontosaurus to prevent issues and injuries towards the park staff and the animals. When the carcharodontosaurus reached the scent's source it thought it would be a decent meal as it looked at the still injured male spinosaurus but it had no way of knowing the female spinosaurus was nearby. The Carcharodontosaurus ran at the spinosaurus but the spinosaurus stood its ground trying to bite and slash the carcharodontosaurus while making a lot of noise. The female heard it's mate in trouble and left towards the nest where the fight was. The Carcharodontosaurus now realized that it was out numbered and not wanting to deal with injury broke down another segment of fence and went looking for something else. It smelled the air but with the storm only two scents it smelled were its own and the spinosaurus pair so it started walking. The staff were getting ready to go after it but they forgot to check its current location and went to spinosaurus enclosure only to met with two angy spinosaurus whose eggs were hatching. Meanwhile the carcharodontosaurus broke into another enclosure this time belonging to the park's biggest pain in the ass the neovenator. The neovenator at first hissed at the carcharodontosaurus to try and intimidate the much larger carnivore but it got chunk taken from its shoulder area. After that it fled not wanting to waste more energy then it was going to get from the dead neovenator it exited the neovenator enclosure. But the neovenator saw it leave a hole in its fence and after it thought the carcharodontosaurus was fully gone it broke out through the gap in the fence the carcharodontosaurus made and went towards where the juvenile Polacanthus were being kept. At this point the storm subsided and the fire at the carcharodontosaurus enclosure was put out. The Carcharodontosaurus was looking for food still and got desperate it found the Megatherium and Doedicurus enclosure. The Carcharodontosaurus found the sloth eating fruit from a bush. But the sloth saw the carcharodontosaurus as a threat display the Megatherium went up on its back feet to make itself look bigger and it bellowed at the carcharodontosaurus telling it to back off. Hearing the sloth the Doedicurus who was asleep slammed its tail on the ground when it saw the carcharodontosaurus approach as the carcharodontosaurus went in for a strike on the sloth the sloth being just big enough to reach the skull of the carcharodontosaurus slashed the carcharodontosaurus across its face. The staff who went looking at the cameras saw the sloth's threat display and the Polacanthus defending themselves from the neovenator decided to split up one group to subdue the predator going after the sloth and the other to go after the neovenator. The group going after the neovenator was able to get the job done but not without the predator taking a few hits from the Polacanthus. But the group going after the Megatherium's predator was not ready for what happened they thought that the predator going after the sloth would not be the carcharodontosaurus but one like the baryonyx or phorusrhacos. So when the group saw it was the carcharodontosaurus they had to call for back up from the other staff. The sloth was not doing well in the fight as the much larger carcharodontosaurus struck again and again until the Doedicurus who got splattered with blood from one of the carcharodontosaurus attacks slammed its spiked clubbed tail into the ankle of the carcharodontosaurus breaking it causing the carcharodontosaurus to fall to the ground the group of staff sedated the carcharodontosaurus and all animals that had a broken enclosure from the incident were brought to holding pens. Rexyisdebest called the veterinary unit for the animals. Sadly the park had its first loss of an extinct animal during the fight against the carcharodontosaurus the sloth got bit on a major artery and was unable to be saved as the blood lost was too much to be brought back from. After a long few weeks the park was able to restore the fences and return the animals that had damaged fences to their home enclosures. But the staff now had a dead sloth to deal with and many were in favor of getting a new one but when they were looking through the enclosure they found a small set of tracks that seemed to be sloth tracks but the park was in Africa and they were following the same tracks as the dead sloth until they heard a shrill cry from the location where the dead sloth dropped dead. They expected to find a vulture flock but found a juvenile Megatherium wanting its parent back they didn't think the Megatherium was pregnant and they were not sure what to do with the young sloth. The staff decided to take the juvenile sloth from the dead parent and raise it with as little intervention as possible in a holding pen. The juvenile was not wanting to leave and stood its ground from the staff trying to slash the staff with its claws they ended up sedating the young sloth. They had it moved. The group that goes after animals in the field which includes conca and acryallo went back to south America to try and find a adoptive mother for the juvenile Megatherium. They were in luck they found a female Megatherium that just had its own juvenile die from an argentavis. They were successful in getting it back to the present. For now the two are separate from each but plans to introduce the two of them are planned for when the group goes after the next target species desmatosuchus a aetosaur from triassic North America. The introductions are going to be monitored by a group led by megalania enthusiast, delta and scarylookinghobo. The group decided to go after desmatosuchus due to its durability in case of a sudden incident again and because of the unique appearance it has compared to other armored animals. When the capture group went back to triassic they were surprised at the sight of a plateosaurus herd eating as soon as the group arrived they were thinking about getting one for the park when a young one walked right up to them before alerting the herd causing them to panic one of them the one that caused the panic charged the group and the group just let it charge between them back into the present. As the others fled away so the young plateosaurus was the only one going to the present.
When the plateosaurus ran through the portal Rexyisdebest looked at it in surprise as the plateosaurus looked up and reared up and looked Rexyisdebest in the eye. Meanwhile the start of introducing the two Megatherium were starting. The group started by putting in a wire divider between the two but there was a problem the two animals wanted to be together and the group realized that it was not out of hostility but because the adult is trying to take care of it and the juvenile sloth because it wanted a mother to take care of it. In the triassic the group stumbled upon a set of tracks that seemed to be the right ones for desmatosuchus. But when they finally found what made them they were surprised to find what they thought was a rutiodon made them but now they have a problem like how crocs form floats on the beach or river/lake banks well they found a float of the animal and it is trying to scare another predator off they looked and it was what looked like rutiodon as well confused they double checked and the one they followed the tracks of was not rutiodon but smilosuchus. In the park the plateosaurus was finally in a holding pen and it seems to have a fascination with human beings. But as soon as the plateosaurus was secured the capture group called for a jeep for something that they said that caught megalania enthusiast's interest since the two sloths were already bonding and in their home enclosure he was able to check it out. When the jeep started pulling it through as a smilosuchus went into a death roll as a rope was tied around the tail and snout the phytosaur tried to get free from its binds but was continued to be dragged but the more it rolled the more the bumper was getting ripped off the jeep. So they closed the portal and cut it free from behind after they got it to the largest pond the park has which had been prepared for a possible future super croc but smilosuchus is quite large itself so for now future missions will not go after super sized crocs.
The group returned to the past and found a odd set of bipedal tracks with occasional 4 prints it was no desmatosuchus but their curiosity was peaked and they found what made them and it was not good for the group or the animal they stumbled upon a dried up river bed that turned to mud that trapped the animal the problem is that the animal is postosuchus they tried getting close and it didn't react they opened the time portal the postosuchus ended up being sedated and tied ropes to its exposed head and front limbs they pulled it out of the death trap and then through the time portal once in the park in a holding pen mimikyutube and scarylookinghobo after watching a video on YouTube thought it would be funny to put the postosuchus in a hat. They did it with minimal injury
They went back into the past to get the desmatosuchus they were after this time they found one and brought it back with just giving it a trail of food to follow and it did
Next time on a very special episode the park will get its first fully aquatic animal from the past along with one of the most iconic dinosaurs ever
