The barsboldia and his mate reach an uncharted swamp. They look out for any danger. The female barsboldia wanders off to find a tasty plant to munch on. The male notices and goes after her. But suddenly, his mate is pulled under the water. He roars in anger. A blood pool appears. Out came a rutiodon.

The barsboldia tries to crush rutiodon's snout but misses. The rutiodon then bites onto the barsboldia's neck and rips off the head along with some back vertebrae.
